I like this muffler, especially for the price. I didn't hear any reviews on American V8 trucks, only import style 4 or 6 cylinder motors. It sounds great. No catalytic converters on my truck and it's still a nice mellow exhaust without being too loud. Cold starts are smooth and the drone is non-existent. Full throttle is amazing and not obnoxious. I had a dynatech muffler on it before which was awesome too but a little too loud for campground use while towing but I loved it. This is a perfect muffler for the price
