This muffler was hundreds of dollars cheaper than going to a shop to have it replaced. Not knowing what to expect, I bought it and it was easy to install. It is almost as quiet as the factory muffler. It fit perfectly. No modifications were necessary, it bolted in place and the whole job took about a half hour. You don't need to be a mechanic to do this job. I'm very glad I bought this. Don't forget to buy the replacement gasket for the flange.
