Amazing idea! This product works great and does what it says it will do. Best part is in the future I can connect more outlets to the remote,.Very convenient. I do not have to get out of bed to turn the light off.This product arrived new in the box, and was pretty easy to program. It's really great to have the 2 outlets in one, one for the remote, the other open to plug in something else, without messing with your remote set up. The only inconvenience I ran into with this product is that the plug needs to be at least partially visible in order for the remote to connect to the hub.All in all, I would say this is a pretty good and convenient product.Really good for those items you dont want to have power running to all the time but they are behind furniture or otherwise hard to access.Just a Good product to Turn off Light with Remote when ready to fall a sleep , better then Clap OnI bought this for my Christmas tree and loved it. We now use the outlet for a candle Warmer. It’s really really makes thing convenient! But I do have one complaint. I thought both outlets were able to be controlled with the remote. One outlet is remote controlled and the other is a “regular” outlet and stays on all the time.I love the convenience of this product. Saves your back and knees, no more moving furniture to reach outlets. Great for decorations and lighting.The product works as stated. Easy set up. Company responded quickly to a question I had on a damaged piece. They sent me a new piece very quickly. Easy way to control lights without needing to be at light switchWorks great. I use it for string lights around the house. Having both a switched outlet and a non switched outlet makes it easy to utilize already used outlets. Remote doesn't need line of sight, the plugs have a toggle button on it for the switched outlet in case you can't get to the remote. Switching is instant and there is a slight tactile click. Remote has actual plastic buttons and not a filmy blister style. Apparently it is expandable because the remote has 5 sets of on/off buttons.I bought this as my dehumidifiers were on the same circuit as the microwave. I kept having to remind my roommate to turn the dehumidifiers back on after making his meal. Sometimes he would forget to shut them off and need to get into the fuse box to reset the breaker. I was able to plug in one dehumidifier into each of these plugs, and put the remote in the kitchen. Now he just presses the "off" button when he wants to cook, and when he's done, just presses the "on" again. It has solved the problem.I wanted a remote that turned off two lights. Simultaneously. Not sure if there was a problem with the remote or actual plug in unit. I. Called the 1- 800 number and explained my disappointment. Two days later, I received a new unit which was upgraded which works perfectly. I was extremely happy with Customer Service and Amazon for their quick response and delivery. Thank you very much!I bought a set of 3 two years ago and it is very easy to use. Although this is fine this time, it cannot be used with the last one. The remote control interferes with each other: the old remote control fails, and the new remote control battery must be removed to continue using it. Don't know what to do?I purchased the units to remotely turn on and off a 12.5 amp load. The units are rated at 15 amps. I installed one unit and turned it on by the remote. The unit immediately blew with a loud pop and the smell of burning electronic components. I thought it was just an infant failure so I tried the second unit. Same thing! A loud pop and a burning smell! I will be sending them back for a refund. A third unit that I purchased works fine for small loads.
